Exactly What I Wanted
"Immediately purchased this and would have paid nearly 10x for it … it’s given me the brightness I have needed for a long time now. Thank you!"
Your MacBook Pro's Liquid Retina XDR display can reach 1000 nits - but macOS only lets you use that for HDR content. BrightIntosh removes that limit.

"So happy that I found this: best app purchase for my MacBook Pro M4! Does what it says for a crazy cheap price of 1,99 - and yes, I would have gladly paied 4,99 if that is the price. Thank you very much to the developer!"
"This has been a great plug-in, especially for the price. Also, it’s worth noting that I had a trouble-shooting issue on a Saturday morning, and the developer responded within 30 minutes. Obviously that shouldn’t be an expectation as this plug-in scales, but I think this level of alacrity at this level speaks volumes of the developer and anything he builds."
Work outside, at cafes, or anywhere bright without squinting at your screen.

No tracking, no data collection. Your privacy is respected completely.
macOS remains in full control of your display hardware and keeps it safe. BrightIntosh simply uses HDR features that are already built into your Mac. Apple designed these displays to handle this brightness level.
BrightIntosh places a bright HDR pixel in the upper-left corner to trigger the display's HDR mode. Due to backlight technology, you may notice slight backlight bleed - this is normal and not a hardware defect.
